The Salvation Army Hope House project is a mission driven housing expansion designed to support individuals and families transitioning out of homelessness. Located in Medford, Oregon, the project focuses on creating safe, functional, and dignified residential space while integrating seamlessly with the existing Hope House campus.

Outlier Construction partnered with The Salvation Army and KSW Architects to deliver a thoughtfully planned expansion that balances cost efficiency, durability, and long term community impact. The scope includes new residential units and supporting building improvements intended to provide stable, secure housing in a supportive environment.

The project progressed through a full design and permitting process, including schematic design, construction documents, and agency approvals, before moving into construction. The work was carefully coordinated to meet the operational needs of the existing facility while minimizing disruption to residents and services.

Built with a focus on quality materials and straightforward construction systems, the Hope House expansion reflects a commitment to longevity, safety, and livability. The result is a facility that supports The Salvation Army’s mission by providing reliable housing that helps residents take meaningful steps toward independence and stability.
