Outlier Construction considers safety a core value.
Our safety program exceeds state and federal OSHA standards by proactively identifying safety concerns and implementing procedures and controls to minimize workplace incidents. Our commitment to safety is exemplified by our team’s enthusiasm for safe work practices, at all levels, resulting in a work environment that is cohesive, orderly, and safe.
Our safety leadership team works diligently to stay current with the latest industry standards and OSHA regulations. Ongoing training ensures our entire team stays up to date on the latest safety rules and regulations. Additionally, our process includes:
A full time safety manager, who coordinates our safety program.
A safety committee, led by employees, that meets regularly to review policies and practices, communicating findings to field personnel.
Weekly safety audits are performed by superintendents and monthly safety audits are performed by the Outlier safety director.
We frequently partner with Oregon OSHA to design safe approaches to specific tasks and challenges.
Our employees and subcontractors are held to the same job site safety standards.
As an AGC member, we frequently partner with industry professionals in safety and industrial hygiene to carry out the vision of our safety program and ensure that we are always reaching above and beyond OSHA’s safety standards and industry quality standards.
