Outlier’s construction team has experience in multifamily housing, custom single-family, large commercial developments, and medical construction.

The Outlier approach to orchestrating a construction project is to engage a team that includes the client, subcontractors, employees, and design teams to work in a collaborative partnership rather than individual entities. We pride ourselves in the ability to quickly and effectively find solutions to any challenges that may arise while ensuring a pleasant building experience for our clients.
At Outlier, we pride ourselves on our commitment to safety. We have implemented programs including a safety committee, and monthly safety meetings. These are lead by our Safety Director and attended by all safety committee members as well as all new hires. In addition, new hires are required to attend safety meetings for the first year of employment. Outlier also has weekly job site safety meetings to address current topics for onsite safety.
During the design process, the Outlier team will employ the practice of “Value Engineering” as a means of optimizing a project’s value. Working with local sub-contractors, Outlier will identify products and systems that will save the owner money while preserving the intended function and quality. These cost-saving measures can thus be implemented without affecting appearance, function, or useful life.
Our expert project managers will be the main point of contact. For instance, this includes overseeing the budget and value engineering as required, helping with subcontractor recruitment, and assisting in making bid packages for subcontractors to bid out. Once the job has started, they will be the one overseeing the day-to-day activities, ensuring a smooth and efficient project.
